I've lowered the price to $575. The lens is just over a year old, perfect condition.

This is a very handy focal-length range. Excellent IQ as well. If I could only take one lens on vacations, this is it.

I can never understand the lack of interest in this lens when they are listed here. In my opinion, this lens is a step above the DA* 16-50 in image quality - it just doesn't get much better than this.

I've found that surprising as well. The lens is a perfect wide angle in the most useful wide to ultrawide range - definitely one of the best lenses for a Pentax camera. Someone offered me $540 for it on ebay, and I've pretty much decided that I'll give it to a friend or use it on my infrared converted k7 before I sell it that low...
