Pentax 50-135mm F2.8 DA* with SDM issues Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax 50-135mm F2.8 DA* with SDM issues

Asking Price
300 USD

Item Location
Alberta (Canada)

Item Description
This lens has SDM issues, so you should treat it as a manual focus lens. Sometimes the SDM motor works, but more often than not it will not. I don't use this lens often enough to consider sending it in for repair, so it is priced accordingly.

A bargain if you want to use this as a MF lens, or have an older Pentax body without SDM.

I have inactivated the SDM on 16-50. Very easy actually. And it is reversible. You can install the original ROM back whenever you want, if you save it on your computer. I put it back before sending the lens to CRIS for repair (zoom ring jammed). If you like the lens, you should try it.

If it's not sold to the 2 pm before me, then I'm very keen.

If I were you, I would try it on an earlier Pentax camera body like K100D or istD to confirm if screwdriving focus is working well or not.
