This one is one of my most used lenses, even though I just got it a few months back. 16-9.net did a World Cup comparison of all the major 24mm lens, and this one came in second under fast prime category (only losing out to the Canon L 24/1.4, which is the winner of the World Cup). I bring this up to prove the "godliness" of this lens , and hope that would move the sale along. Good luck, Frank.

Thanks Hiep. You made me wanna keep the lens instead of selling Oh well, might change mind again about the sell like the last time ...

Ok, let's be frank, two things:

a) Do you ship to Australia
b) Is there any reason why I shouldn't take this lens? I just bought a 35 f/2 but this lens gets me weak at the knees.

I am frank

a) Yes, I ship pretty much anywhere.
b) 24mm vs 35mm, the field/angle of view is pretty different. On dSLR 35mm would be like a normal lens (52mm equivalent) while 24mm is a normal wide (36mm equivalent). If you prefer wider FoV, of course you'd appreciate the FA24. But if you think a normal view is good enough for your, then you don't need this one.

But it's LBA, we buy lenses base on what we want, not what we need. If you like the lens, go and get it instead of get weak knees . If you buy and try it out, and by any chance you don't like it anymore, I don't think you'd lose anything at this price tag.

Thanks anyway.

Ah, Frank, you keep teasing me with this lens! Despite that last exchange, it's not sold yet?

While the "buy now, if you don't want to keep it then sell it" argument makes a hell of a lot of sense, I still don't dare shell out for this after just picking up the DA*16-50.

But we're friends now, right? April 13 is my birthday. Just sayin'...

Interesting, of eight photos, none shows the front lens element.
Just curious

Yeah, got some interested buyers, but seems most opt for the DA* zoom like what you did I'm sure there'd be someone interested in it eventually

Happy birthday, just in case I forget saying this to you 12 days later

I did say Glass is as good as new in the description, that's why I didn't take any photo of the front element. But I'll take one or two if you are still interested to see its beautiful front element

I've bought a big ticket item (more than the $600 he's asking for this lens) from Frank recently. His stuff is exactly like he describes.

If this lens is still available a few days from now, I'm going to hold all of you responsible for abetting my LBA.
