[SOLD] FS: Zeiss Flektogon 35/2.4, Pentax M 50/1.4 (lots of demo pictures)

PRICE DROPPED to help things move along

The Flektogon is pending for payment. The 50/1.4 is still for sale.

Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35/2.4 MC version: $200 + shipping + (ebay fee if applicable). Now $180 + all the applicable fees. I would include a HMC Hoya filter for free as well.

This lens has one blemish: I drilled a hole through the housing case in the back so that my K-mount retention mechanism can hold the lens in place. This is useful if you remove the pin in the official M42-K-mount adapter.

So why am I selling this lens at such a price? I believe my copy is one of the best out there you can find: optically, mechanically, and cosmetically (minus the drill hole).

These are some of the demo shots:

Wide Open:

Wide Open Close Up and 100% Crop:

Bokeh:

F/5.6 shot and Crop:

The Drill Hole:

Front Element:

Back Element of the Flek 35 and the Pentax 50:

Why do I want to sell such a good lens? Simply, I don't. But with the DA* zoom and the 31 Limited, I feel that I don't use this lens enough. This lens deserves to put in more frequent use. Besides, I am trying to reduce the size of my collection.

Pentax M 50/1.4

I don't think I need to say anything about the performance of this lens. Cosmetically, I can find minimal amount of blemishes. Focus is smooth. Aperture blades are snappy.

I'm asking: $100 + shipping + Paypal if applicable for this lens + Hoya HMC UV filter. Now only $90 + applicable fees.

Front Element:

Edit: The black outline is due to the inability of Picasa to successfully convert the K20D DNG file.

For the Flek 35, as I stated, I feel that I don't spend enough time with it when I have the 31 limited and the DA* zoom. I think I have too many lenses to cover the 30ish range at the moment. I'm planning on releasing my Contax Zeiss 28 as well after I have time to take some sample shots.

For the Pentax M 50/1.4. I'm going to get the A 50/1.2, so it will become redundant.

I hate to see fine lenses being wasted away on the shelves. However, I do upgrade my collection from time to time so some of these have to go eventually.

Wow! Those are some best photos taken by the CZJ 35/2.4 I've ever seen. I'd've kept mine if I could make such beautiful shots. Pity to see you let it go (I kinda regret selling mine, but couldn't keep them all).

Good luck.
