Great starter body. Excellent ergonomics. Same size as the earlier K-m, which makes it the smallest of Pentax's dSLRs. The one major benefit over the K-m is Live-View.

I've been using my K-01 exclusively since the beginning of the year so this body has been getting no use since I got the K-01. I'm moving out of the country at the end of the month so time to clear out some gear.

I bought this body from PF user Farfisa who I believe bought it new from Henrys.

Includes original strap, box and manual.

It's in good condition, please see the photos below. It is used, so if you look very very close then you might find some dust and very fine scratches here and there, but you have to look really close.

Also available together with the body is the nice DA18-55 II lens for an additional $50. I don't really want to sell it, but I figure this body might go to a newer user who might need a lens.

The DA18-55 II is a far better lens than the typical DAL 18-55 kit lens.
The DA II offers these significant improvements over the DAL:
- Quickshift over-ride allows manual over-ride of autofocus at anytime.
- Focus scale on the lens allows pre-focus for faster focussing.
- Durable metal lens mount vs. cheap plastic mount.
- Reversible bayonet lens hood with polarizer window vs. no lens hood. This hood is about $30 at B&H!
- Multi-colour graphics and labelling vs. plain silver graphics.

I use lens quite often for everything even though I've got many other top-notch lenses to choose from since it is so small and versatile. It's really good optically from 18-35mm. It's a bit weaker at 55mm, but it close-focuses down to 1:3 magnification at 55mm which gives it a very useful pseudo-macro function.

The lens is used, but optically clean. There is some aging of the rubber visible.
