Item Description Sigma Super-wide II 1:2.8 24mm Multi-coated AF lens, with a matching metal hood and caps, and HOYA HMC UV(C) filter.
This is the AF version of the Super-wide II 24/2.8 lens. It is almost a “macro” lens, has a minimum focusing distance of 7 in. Very sharp, good color. I am selling because I recently bought a 16-50/2.8, a DA 21 and a Sigma 30/1.4.
Condition:
Optically: very good. Some very very small dust under the front element. Not be able to show them in photos taken with FA 50/2.8 macro lens under strong flash light (see photos). No effect on IQ. AF and aperture work as they should. On K5, it back focused a lot, I had to put +10 adjust to focus correctly. But it could be camera problem. My 50-135 also needs +10 on K5. Both work fine on K5II. I like to mount it on K01.
Cosmetically, the Sigma finish coating became sticky so I removed it completely. Now the lens barrel is nice and smooth, but the aperture mark was removed with the coating.
I think the metal hood looks great on the lens. And I have a cap stays on top of the hood.
The HOYA HMC filter is in almost new condition.
