Asking Price
160 USD

Item Location
Saskatoon (Canada)

Item Description
Shipping is $15 in Canada, $25 to USA, other destinations please ask for quote.

This lens is in really nice shape--hardly any signs of use. It's obviously been very well cared for. The glass is flawless--no scratches, cleaning marks, fungus etc. There are a couple of dusts inside, as there is with any lens, but probably less than you'd expect from lens of this vintage.

Aperture blades snappy action, no oil. Focus is smooth.

Reviews here.

Will trade for a K01.
Do you have something you'd like to trade--let me know.

Price lowered to $160. I just had a look at my eBay purchase history, and realized I had my price set too high. $160 (not including shipping) is what I paid for this lens when I bought it, so that's what I'm selling it for.

Would this work with a Pentax K-5 ii as manual or auto focus?

It's a manual focus lens.

You'd shoot in M mode using the green button to meter. Or, in Av mode you'd be shooting wide open.

Ah, thank you. I was finally able to find more details about it. I'm not quite ready to get into manual focusing yet. Still trying to get better street and nighttime action sorted out.

Comprock,
If you are new to photography starting with manual aperture and focus will make you a much better photographer than using the automated systems of today's electronics. I learned how to shoot with my K-X, a M 50 1.7, and a M 100 2.8 (this listed lens' smaller brother). All manual, which made me learn about aperture, iso, metering, and contrast. Also the newer DSLRs have the "Catch in focus" feature which helps a ton with a gem lens like this K 105 2.8.

Understood. I'm already onto M & P mode in less than a month to help me get closer to desired results. I've read of "catch in focus", but not used yet. Great thought to help in the manual focus arena. Do I need the K to M42 mount adapter for this?
