Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 1:1.8 85mm

Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 1:1.8 85mm!
Someone is going to have a great Christmas gift!
This is the lens that doesn’t often surface and there is no need to introduce pr brag about it to Pentaxforums members
It is no longer reasonable for me to hold on to it, I keep my K5 but shoot m4/3 more often so, here it is.
Glass and barrel in excellent condition. Blades snappy. Just a little dust – unavoidable for a lens of 40+ year old . Comes with both caps and original leather case.
The best thing is that it is already fitted with a permanent M42 to K mount adapter.
Priced at $350 + actual shipping.
Take Paypal, Interact Money Transfer (Canadian buyers) and ship Canada Post.

What is "permanent" about the adapter, or, how permanent is it? Did you actually put it on with serious epoxy or anything like that?

I am not sure, got it that way from the beginning. From the look, the previous owner locked the adapter on the lens with a small permanent pin/screw.
I found a tiny pin at the side of the adapter (see attached pic here) and a drill bit mark on the ring of the adapter ( pic #3 above).
Anyway, you can attach or remove the lens as it is a K-mount one

Interesting...never seen one hacked in exactly that way. Thanks!

I don't think "hacked" is the appropriate term in this case. There is nothing changed, and you don't have to put on, take off the adapter every time. Cool and convenient!:

Are there any signs of glue between the adapter and lens mount? Does it appear to only be mechanically held on? (I am interested in using this on Canon System, so I would want to remove the adapter.)

Av or stop-down?

Does this lens have to be stopped down with the green button, or does it still work in Av mode as the regular M42?
