Pentax FA* 24, Voigtlander 90 PK, Contax 85 2.8, MX Chrome

Hi guys,

I want to sell some of my lenses below. The price here already include 3% Paypal fee so you just pay it + shipping cost. I prefer shipping US Continental but I may think about shipping Worldwide if you are really interested in

Price is not fixed yet, please inbox me for more negotiation

SOLD $1400 #1: Pentax A* 85 1.4 or EXCHANGE DA* 16-50 + DA* 50-135

Very rare in excellent condition like this, shows very little sign of use, small tiny dust inside which does not affect quality. Comes with front, rear cap and hood (not comes with 67mm B+W Nano filter in the pics because I will use it with my next 50-135)
Comes with lens and cap

$550 #5: Pentax FA* 24 F2

It's in very good condition, flawless glass, no dust, haze or fungus. I will up pictures later.

Voigtlander 180 F4 SOLD

$480 #7: Voigtlander 90 3.5 SL I PK version

I bought from this seller and have not used it yet, no issue. Now I am selling back with the same price

Oooops.... I think i need some Kleenex... :X

Then again, Ledo, why would you need a 16-50 and 50-135 because of "professional wedding"?

Just sell the 85/1.4 to fund a K3, along with the MX and M lenses for kicks, and you are set with the FA Trios, my friend...

Thanks for your advice. Actually my friend is using FA 31 with K3 right now and it is not quick focus enough due to its screw drive design, he recommend me use DA* with SDM system, it much better with K3. I have Pentax LX with different Viewfinder already so I want to sell this MX.
I am still thinking about selling this Amigos because it's very hard to find another one like this, and I know I will regret so much after selling it, but... I don't know, haizzz

I bought it from ebay, not UK, but may be the seller already post it from UK before. Thanks!

My votes also goes to DA*s but You need something razor sharp at F2.0 or 2.8 and that are Limiteds that You already have, also DA*s are for flash use indoor at f5.6 when You can get incredible images, with great colors, contrast and details , but F1.8 can catch some natural light atmosphere, A* and voigtlanders are great lens but in wedding are less usable so let them go.

I don't think you should sell the 3 FA ltds too, if you going into wedding, they will be useful. Especially the 77.

yeah I already have DA* 55 so I am fine at 1.4 or 1.8, thanks for your advice. A* and Voigtlander are incredible but I need to let them go because its MF in wedding as you say

My friend told me that those FA lenses focus not fast enough in wedding photos, last time I took wedding photos I use 16-50 and 50-135 so I don't know that focus by FA lenses is enough or not, honestly. Do you test it in wedding before?

Personally I don't think the DA* lenses that you mentioned is going to have faster AF than the FA ltds. Further, you will get a K-3, which I think will improve the AF on any lenses.
You just won't get the images that you can from the FA ltds with the DA*16-50 and DA*50-135.

I really think you should try them on K-3 and on several weddings before you sell them...

Hmm, in my experience weddings are not drag races or hokey matches, and some images can be directed, also ppl at wedding expect to be photographed and don't mind if wait 2 sec in some position to be photographed nicely, but don't take me like measure I'm just a still life photographer who sometimes shoot weddings.
