I am also selling this K-5 iis in like new condition.
It comes in its original box with all of the contents.
The shutter count is about 1400. The camera is in excellent working condition.
I had thought about waiting until next spring to buy a k-3, but I have changed my mind.
Price is $650.00

I love my K5IIs, the shots I'm getting are over the top. If a K3 is better than this I'll be amazed. Here is one using the DA* 50-135mm. I also got an invite to learn with Paul Nicklen - National Geographic. Thanks Pentax!

I like that picture. I think I have more pictures of my cat (and squirrels) than of my kids.
I do like the pictures the K-5iis produces. I read somewhere that the auto focus motor on the k3 is faster that the one in the k-5iis, so I am hoping that my screw drive lenses will be faster. Besides the fact that I am into macro photography and would like to have the larger files to allow for cropping and still retain more.

Sometimes I think that I just want it and will find a reason why it would be better. So I do not know if it is implied practicality or novelty that that drives me to get it.

Yes they will work. If they are the screw mount M42, they need an adapter. If they are the K mount, no adapter is needed. As with all manual lenses, camera is used in manual mode.
