Pentax SMC-K 28/3.5 lens for sale. This is a "K" lens, not the more common, "M" lens. From what I've read, this is a different optical formula from the "M" lens and is considered to be the sharpest Pentax 28mm, and among the sharpest Pentax lenses at any focal length.
See the following url's for more discussions on this lens (find the comments on the "K" version):
Alex's Library: Photo Tips Brief Comments
Lens is in great shape. Glass is very clean. In the pics, anything visible is surface dust. Aperture blades are snappy and aperture and focus rings are both very smooth. Very minor brassing on the body. Includes front and rear Pentax caps (not sure if they're original). Rear cap has a "28mm" label that previous owner applied (visible in photos below).
Priced at $80, plus $5 shipped in US (USPS Priority Mail). Int'l shipping would be charged actual shipping costs. Insurance extra at buyer's option. Paypal preferred, other methods open for discussion.
Not a whole lot of examples to determine fair pricing. There's two on sale at ebay right now asking something over $150 which is absurd. Most recent sales of P28's are either "M"'s or old screw mounts and they seem to go from $50 - 80 plus typical ebay inflated shipping.
