Rokunar 55mm F2.8 V-HQ (Very High Quality) MC Macro Lens in rare PK mount. This lens was also sold under the brand names Panagor, Vivitar, Elicar, Admiral, Soligor, Spiratone, and others, but the Rokunar branding is pretty rare. Beautiful, unscratched optics with very minor internal dust like all lenses of this generation. Aperture is very snappy. Smooth focusing, quality 1:1 macro lens.

took these two shots with panagor 55 mm macro with about 50 mm tubes. uncropped .

OK, here are some hand-held sample photos I just took for you quickly and they were auto-leveled in FastStone because of the lighting, but you can see the photo quality if this lens on a K-01 body. Middle shot is at F8 and you can see the sharpness on the stamens. Very fun lens.

shot this with panagor 55 macro 2 days ago. seems the bee was posing for me.

at max 1:1 magnification and uncropped... This lens is light in weight compare to many other macro lens I owned. Highly portable and short working distance, which was be an advantage for certain critters, but others like butterfly may require a longer working distance ie longer focal macro lens.

Captured this when I was in adelelaide Cleland park last year. Panagor 55 macro at max magnification and uncrop.

Bull Ant, first time capturing this species...
