I purchased this lens from another forum member a few months ago. The only reason for selling is Adorama made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a body + lens combo deal on the same lens. The optics and exterior are perfect. The only imperfections are some very superficial scratches on the lens cap, which are shown in the below picture. You can't see these minor scratches unless you look at them from the perfect angle and very closely. Lens database suggests it was originally purchased around December 2012.
