This is a preset lens and is mechanically and optically in wonderful condition. It comes with both original caps (the metal "Takumar" front cap) and the original Asahi lens case with the green velvet interior. This is not only a relatively rare collector's item, but one that performs beautifully *(and is, i believe, the only Pentax macro that goes natively to a 1:1 reproduction ratio. The later 50mm f4 Macro designs only went to 1:2.

This is a lens you will be proud to have in your stable and with spring approaching in the northern hemisphere, you know you will be putting it to work almost as soon as you take it out of the box.

I have this lens and cannot let it go. It seems like the 3D effect it produces is better than the other macros I have.
