I have owned this backpack for about 4 years. I really like it but I have downsized my "kit" and no longer need anything this large. It is in excellent condition; there are a few minor scuffs on the front, but otherwise it is pristine. We are a non-smoking family, so it hasn't picked up any odd odors. I am including with the bag most of a Kata "Modi-Vers" kit (VG-MDK-10, to be exact). This kit allows you to make additional dividers for the interior, if you so desire. With one notable exception, I am also including the rest of the stuff that came with the backpack (instructions, tripod carrier, rain cover and a couple of small clips that fasten to other Kata accessories if you have them). The exception is the special camera strap that came with the bag. The strap is a 3 piece affair that allows you to unhook the part of the strap that rests on your neck from the pieces that connect to the camera. The bag has 2 D-rings on the shoulder straps that the camera can be fastened to when you are wearing the bag. This allows you to carry weight of the camera on the straps of the backpack instead of around your neck . This is easily the most comfortable way I have found of carrying an SLR with a backpack. I am keeping the strap because I have a smaller backpack to which I had a luggage repair shop add D-rings. If you want to use this feature of the bag, you can still get these straps (look for KATA PL-C-Strap online).
