Item Description
An overall excellent condition FA fast fifty 1.4 auto focus lens by Pentax.It is clean,dry,snappy aperture,fast accurate focus.It does however have element separation viable through the front glass.It doesn't seem to have a big affect on sharpness,though it has to affect it to some degree.It includes both caps.I've included two photos.The first is at 1.4 ,second at 2.8.

What does separation mean exactly? Based on the image, I take it to mean that the coating is coming away from the lens. Is that what you mean?

It's the degrading of the cement used to bond the element groups together.
