1. Got the FA 35mm used to replace my first prime - a DA 35mm F2.4 - that I really liked. Very sharp lens useful even wide open, and feels a lot more solid than the plastic 35mm. But other than the extra half stop IQ is about the same. However I got a FA 43mm ltd a while back, and the 35mm is just too close, so I stopped using it. Condition of the lens is good, with some discoloration of the rubber focus ring (looks worse on the picture than it is). I see a dust spec or two, but other than that the glass is clear, and the aperture blades looks perfect. The lens comes with front and rear Pentax caps, plus metal shade. I lost the 55mm cap for the shade - will include if I find it, but no promises... 2. Got the FA 50mm F1.4 trading here on the forum. Has some minor scratches and wear on the lens barrel, and the serial number label is looking so, so. There are three specs clearly visible inside the lens, but glass and aperture blades are otherwise in great condition. Previous owner claimed it was in perfect condition - I'd rate it "good". However the issues had no apparent impact on the IQ so I kept it. Sitting between my FA 77mm and FA 43mm I hardly ever use this lens, so it is going. The lens comes with rear Pentax caps, plus metal shade and lens cap (no 49mm cap) 3. I bought the Tamron from Amazon 2.5 years ago, and this was my favorite lens for a long time. It replaced a DA 55-300mm, and I was blown away by how much better the image quality was. Used it for portraits, sports, and wildlife, and it never disappointed me. Only issue is that the lens is BIG and HEAVY. So after getting a DA* 300mm and a FA 77mm, I found I almost always left it behind due to the weight and size. Full disclosure: 18 months ago it fell out of my side loaded kata bag as I was picking it up, and it stopped working. It was sent to Tamron for a full repair and cleaning. After receiving it back I did a full check on the lens and it was as sharp as before. Glass is perfect, and I see no dust inside the lens. Have always had a UV filter mounted (not included). Aperture blades look perfect. I would say the lens is "excellent", though the tripod mount button shows brassing, and the lens barrel behind the tripod collar is scratched. Comes with rear lens cap, original pouch, box, front cap, tripod collar.
5. I am giving away a Pentax ZX-10 film camera to a fellow pentaxian - body only - with a few accessories (cable, flash, manual etc) I figured I am better off giving it to someone who can and will use it. SO - if you are a STUDENT (US only) I will be ship the camera to you for free. I'll send to any one else interested for $10 (covering shipping). The camera looks like it is in excellent shape, and appears to work, though I have not run any film though it.
6. Pentax D-BG4 battery grip for K-5 or K-7. In good condition. Works perfectly. Except for a few smaller scracthes, and one larger one at a corner, it looks excellent. Love this grip, but getting one for my K-3, and trying to keep my equipment weight down. Comes with the regular battery holder as well as the AA battery (not shown). I'll throw in a generic battery as well.
Small print: Paypal only. Returns accepted within one week - buyer pays shipping. Will possibly consider shipping outside the US 48 to members with good feedback - no returns, though.
