I've decided I have a little too much redundancy in my lens line-up. Weather-resistance is mostly a non-issue for me and I can't bring myself to part with any of my primes in and around this range, so I guess the writing is on the wall for this admittedly wonderful little lens. I honestly don't see any obvious flaws in this copy and I've included a few sample photos. One at each end of the range, wide open, and one at 28mm f/4.0 (the brass thingy). The blue flowers are at 40mm, the purple one is at 20. All were shot hand-held (from a not-very-steady hand!) and the blue flowers are the only one that has been cropped a bit.
This lens has 14 user reviews on this site with an average score of 9.36, so apparently a lot of others find it just as good as I do. This one is absolutely as new and includes everything a new one would. Will also include the receipt which gives you another 7 months or so of factory warranty, though I'd be surprised if you need it as it has a "bullet-proof" feel to it.
