It is with some hesitation and little melancholy that I put these up for sale, but life calls for finances in other places (who knew having a baby meant needing a bigger place?).

These really need no introduction, but I've always tried to figure out the best nickname for them... the three princes? the three kings? Those lenses? Whatever, the set of early, silver FA Limited lenses is a pretty spectacular sight to behold, and it's taken me a good long time to get them all in one place. For what it's worth, I also have the box for the 31mm and some paperwork for the 43mm (nothing for the 77mm, though).

These three are in great, great shape. Glass on all 3 is pristine, and just got the 77 back from a CLA at Eric's. There is a small mark or two on the 43mm lens cap (about 2mm each), but that is all I found on inspecting them.

Also, if you want I'll gladly throw in an autofocus film body that I used for kicks every once in a while with this set. Nothing fancy - it's not an MZ-S, but it's something that will let you take advantage of the full frame design of these lenses while maintaining autofocus.

Drool... look at the color of those bags! Look at those early serial numbers! These contain the fabled lead content in their glass, I believe... Collector's items for sure, it's such a shame that you have to sell them. Didn't you know that having babies makes you poorer?! What sacrifice you are making for your offspring, they better be grateful someday...

Nope. Long before they were call Amigos by the north American folks, they were always called the three princess in Asia.
Princess for their elegant, small size, and beauty.

Not sure which attributes of these lenses can be called Amigos...

Nice collection by OP! I wouldn't part with them if I have collected them! this is limited of the limited lenses!

I actually like that better. Let's say they are usually refered to, nowadays, as the amigos.

For East Asian, Chinese call them three princesses,(三公主）,and Japanese call them 三姫.
Please don't call them three amigos...

Lots of interest in individual lenses so far (especially the 31), but I'm going to keep them together for another week or so. I'll let everyone know if/when I decide to split them up.
