I haven't used my copy of the F 35-70 in recent months and took it out yesterday on a nice walk along the river. I was so impressed with the sharpness of the images and the bokeh. Handling is a joy because of how light and compact it is, and the autofocus is lightning fast! The "macro" mode is very convenient and works well. Needs a hood to get maximum contrast. The pictures I took approach the quality of my primes in the same focal range. Good luck with the sale!

seventysixersfan - yeah I'm trying to save up for another lens and so I've started to cull the lenses I'm not using as much as I was last year. Definitely I agree with your assessment, too bad I can't keep them all!
