This lens is in what I consider to be pristine condition.(see the closeup pictures below) It is a fast, high quality lens which originally sold for $720. The construction is beautiful and everything functions perfectly. This is the only camera lens I have that has a chrome plated lens mount. It has the A setting, so it will work in all auto exposure modes of the camera. It is a manual focus lens. It is F4.0 throughout its zoom range.

I have the original front lens cap, a rear lens cap, and a 77mm hood which is included.

This is a Tokina ATX lens, which was their top of the line. It is also SD, which is their designation for an APO lens. It is very sharp and contrasty. I will post a couple photos taken with this lens when I get time.

Here is a crop of a picture I took of the moon. It is a straight jpeg with no post processing. This is at 300mm.

Edit - I have removed this picture because the resizing necessary to post it really reduced the quality. I will repost some other picutures later that do not suffer as much from resizing. If anyone would like more full-size pictures, PM me and I will send them.
