This is a great lens. I was just playing around with mine on the A7R, making the hard debate as to whether or not to let mine go.

I sure do not want to sell it but my very patient wife will only tolerate so many lenses in the house

Work? It covers the frame at about 15mm. Everything wider requires cropping.

I wasn't aware that it is usable on a FF dslr (DC stands for APS-C if I'm not mistaken)

I did an informal test with my old MX, looking through the view finder. The vignetting appeared to disappear as I passed 14mm. Not sure it that would carry through to a real FF sensor. The other lenses I tested such as DA*55 and DA*300 showed no vignetting which is in accord with their supposed FF compatibility. Until we have a full frame sensor to test with we cannot be sure but it does appear that the 8-16 might slip in at 15 and above. No guarantees.

I run it on an A7R with an adapter. I looked again and it has just a tiny bit of vignetting at 15mm. I'll post a thread in a week or so. It certainly projects an image larger than APS-C.

Sorry for the hijack, mikesul, but I hope you appreciate the free bumping.
