SOLD
NOTE: I am also interested in trading this for a Pentax 18-55 MK II
Hi, I have a Tokina AF 70-210 f/4.5 with the A setting on the aperture ring. I bought it used a year ago for $80 and used on my K10D mainly for aviation photography. I am getting rid of it because I found a good deal on a used DA 50-200. Since they are pretty much the same focal length, I wanted to keep it but I needed something with a hood and a bit more compact like the 50-200.
Now, I don't know much about this lens. Staying true to Tokina form, this lens is built like a tank though. It kind of looks like a beer can and about the same weight when full! Glass is clean with no fungus or marks. No dust on the inside either. And since the zoom mechanism is all internal unlike the 50-200. The barrel doesn't extend so I don't see anyway for dust to get in. On the barrel itself, there are no marks either. It looks brand new.
Here are a few shots of the lens...
Those are just reflections on the lens...
And this shot was taken at f/8
Lens comes with a Tokina front cap and a generic P/K rear cap. No box or manual.
Price: $80 (for what I bought it for) + shipping
Or, a trade for a Pentax 18-55 MK II
PM me with any questions
Mike
