Up for sale is the Super-Multi-Coated Macro Takumar 50mm f4
I thought I would love macro photography but didn't end up liking it as much as i thought i would.
Usable eBay lens caps will be included.
Asking for ($115, $100 price reduced) ($90 (USD/CDN) + Shipping ) x 1.03 for PayPal
I don't have much of a reputation on eBay but I have positive feedback on this forum.

Why is this lens special?
The Pentax 50mm Macro lenses all have a very good reputation for sharpness.

Comments from Stan's Pentax Photography are very positive with regards to sharpness and rendering for the later K and M models
Brief Comments

The lens also scores well in the Review Database
Pentax Lens Review Database - 50mm F4

This is also an old-school Takumar lens which has superb construction and unbelievable smoothness of the focus ring.

Condition of the Lens
-I'm just pointing these out so that there are no surprises, but overall the physical condition of the lens is excellent.
-There is some slight wear of paint at the edge of the lens barrel due to a dented lens cap
-Some slight loss of paint here and there, but does not significantly degrade appearance
-Scratch under the word "MACRO"

Otherwise
-Focus ring is smooth
-Aperture ring is snappy
-No fungus
-No scratches on the lens

I'd like to have it, but I'm out of $$$ until next month. So far, I've bought two older Pentax film cameras (a SF-1 and a MZ-50), a K100d (which I LOVE!), two lenses (35-70mm and 70-200mm), a flash, a 2X teleconverter, 3 extention tubes, misc. filters & holder, batteries and 2 2G SD cards.... plus I'm supposed to be saving $$$ to go to Florida next Friday for 8 days. I may be taking pictures instead of eating while I'm there!! LOL!
But, this is on my "to get" list when I get back.
