FA 100 Macro

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
FA 100 Macro

Asking Price
$325.00 USD

Item Location
Phoenix (United States)

Item Description
For sale is an FA 100 Macro

This FF legacy lens is in great shape, optics are clear with no fungus or dust.
Exterior is in very good condition.

Only reason I'm noting condition as "Good" is that the clamp is none functional.
It does not affect the operation of the lens.

I recently purchased a Sigma 70 Macro and a 50-150, making this very heavy lens extra weight in my bag.
The last couple hikes, I've found myself leaving it at home, so it's time to sell.

That's a great macro...I'd buy it if it's really nice condition and I didn't already have one.

Are you sure the clamp doesn't work. All its supposed to do is limit the range of focusing and it doesn't take much to clamp it to do that if I recall....and if it really works I wouldn't want you to get passed up because of this.

it is the "Clamp" not the focus limiter. The little plastic dial piece came off and I just glued it in place for cosmetic purposes. The focus limiter works perfect as does the AF and MF. I think all the clamp did was adjust the barrel tension for manual focusing. It's why I'm listing it for about $100 less than a perfect used copy. If one doesn't care about the clamp function, this is a great deal.

If Pentax does announce a FF camera soon, I may just keep this lens. But as of right now it doesn't get used.

I have the F (not FA) version - which has no focus clamp and very limited manual focus feedback consequently - I love it. It is a great lens and the FA version is as well. BUY IT ASAP! You will not be sorry.
