I cant wait to get some free time to go the Sequoia this snow season. All I am taking is the 28-45 and the P67 55-100.

That 250-600 would actually cover the 44mm image circle , but you would have to chop it a little.........

How much is a little? What would I lose, on the long end I presume?

Chop

About 5/8" off the back to get the distance right. The 600mm end should be good , its the 250 end I am not sure of.

this lens is right up there on the lust list ... too bad I'm away from home, I would be looking at my bank account and the gear I don't need pile and with the price of gas going down.

The Q7 would give you 4.6x 35mm crop factor, so 943-2760mm range!

with the Q/Q10, would give you 5.6x 35mm crop factor, so 1400-3360mm range! But the better IQ and ISO of the Q7 would compensate, and would still give better results...
