For sale is a Vivitar Series 1 90mm 2.5 Macro that is in perfect condition.

Comes complete with box, original manual and warranty card + front and back caps.

Known as the sharpest lens reviewed during the time it was released this lens is the same as the famed Tokina 90mm 2.5 also dubbed Bokina for it's amazing bokeh. Note this is actually the same exact lens as the Tokina except with better housing.

I'm very sad to sell this lens as I haven't seen many around anywhere later but need the money.
Here are some sites that have reviews and information on this lens

kolobob - "Π‘ΠΎΠΊΠΈΠ½Π°" Vivitar Series 1 (Tokina; Kiron) 90/2.5 lens
[review] ----- Tokina 90mm f/2.5 Macro [Page 1]: Nikon D80/D70/D60/D50/D40 Forum: Digital Photography Review

245$ + shipping to anywhere in the world.

Added pics, and it is a K-Mount lens. Sorry for not making that clear earlier

You can tell by looking at the pictures of the mount that it is not an "A" lens. It also says P/K on the mount - not P/KA. The other reason I know is that I have one just like it. It is an amazing lens. The barrel is anodized, not painted and is just beautiful.

This lens will go only to 1:2 without the macro adaptor. Of course, with the digital crop factor that works out to 1:1.3 I have never had a problem with this lens not focusing close enough.

Thanks Tom... and may I just say DUH... it is so obvious when you look at the mount...

I have the M42 version of this lens with the matching macro adaptor w/tripod mount. And I have the 'A' 105 too.. I was thinking I needed every version! Is my LBA showing?
Shouldn't I have the whole collection?

I have the 105 F2.5 version also. Having used both, the only advantage of the 105 is the "A" setting. The picture quality of both is outstanding. I have become used to using the hypermanual feature of the K10D, so metering is not a big deal with a non-A lens. I just saw a Kiron 105 2.8 go for $450 on Ebay and it was not an automatic lens, so this is really quite a bargain.

Kiron 105/2.8 105mm f2.8 macro lens P/K PK Pentax mount - eBay (item 280229320344 end time May-28-08 21:28:50 PDT)

I also have a Pentax SMC 50 F4 Macro, and a Pentax DFA 50 F2.8 Macro. I think I have the macro range covered
