Item Description
This lens looks almost new and has had VERY little use in it's life. The gentleman I bought it off, only took handfuls of shots with it before it found it's way into a cupboard and since buying it, I have used it for roughly around another 200 shots.

The SDM is smooth and fast on this and works without any flaws.

This is a great, weather-sealed lens. SHARP, punchy and smooth. Get yourself some great glass and take some great pictures.

No dents or marking to any of the body. Glass is pristine. No fungus, no haze.

The lens DOES NOT come with a hood.
It will be supplied in it's original bag with a Hoya Super UV filter (which has always been fitted to it) as well as original front and rear covers.

I can't believe how low people are having to go to sell these lately. I don't get it. The SDM issues must have people scared to death. It's still an unbeleivable lense so who cares if it has to be converted to screw drive. My favorite primes are all screw drive.

Agree, amazing glass.
And as far as I can see looking around the failure rates were only around 5-10% anyway. I guess if it happens to you it sucks, but still, as you say, convert it to screw drive (which I believe is fairly straight forward). The SDM on this lens is still 100% though Maybe I got a good one.
This quality of glass for these prices is crazy when I'm looking at shelling out 1.5K on a Sony equivalent.

Based on my reading a few threads - no. The DA* 60-250 is one that may depending on the tolerance for vignetting but the 50-135 isn't even close from what I read. It may work with the 1.4 TC however...
