Item Description
This DA*16-50 has had the firmware conversion to screw-drive focus. The SDM had not yet failed, but I did the conversion because I just didn't want to wait around for the SDM to go bad on me while shooting.
Please do not buy this lens if you do not fully understand what this firmware conversion is! No refunds based on the SDM/Screw-Drive conversion. I have always enjoyed using this lens. It has no flaws that I can see and the optical qualities are well known. Has original box, paperwork, pouch, front/rear caps. I'm thinning the herd to save up for Full Frame!
