So this sale is actually on behalf of the yearbook club at the private school where I work, and also happen to be the yearbook advisor. The school recently received a very nice donation of high end FF Canon gear, and the powers-that-be (read: not me) have decided that it would be best to part with the Pentax collection that I have carefully groomed through the years. The school wanted to sell via eBay or craigslist, or who the heck knows what, but I said I would at least put these up on the PF board and see if anyone is interested (the cameras - two k-3s w/18-135 and a k-5, are already spoken for). Paypal through me, and I'll pass it along to the yearbook club.
Here is the caveat - these lenses were used (some lightly) by students, and I've done what I can to describe them as accurately as possible. I don't have any photos yet, but hopefully will have them soon. For now, though, I wanted to get the info out there. Please PM with any questions.
60-250/4 $800, $800, $8500. There are three of these, and were the most used lens. Because of this, I sent it to CrisCam and had the lenses looked over, front element replaced, SDM checked, etc. The $800 ones are without a hood, the $850 one comes with a hood. They haven't been used since they got back from Criscam, except to ensure that they work.
35 Macro - $350. Great shape. Rarely used. Not sure what else to say about this amazing lens.
24/2 $500 - In really amazing shape, with original hood. No front cap. Buy it, so I don't hang onto this myself just to see what it will look like on the upcoming FF.
12-24 $200
SOLD this one has issues. The only lens I ever 'lost'. It fell when it was being changed and hast been the same since. The AF doesn't really work, the MF is a bit tight, and the front lens has some coating loss. I tried to get it repaired, but no go (something about a part that isn't made anymore). So it is what it is; a really good MF indoor lens, probably great for real estate shots or for someone to try and repair/part out.
A* 85/1.4 $1100.
SOLD Comes with original hood. The body has some wear, but the glass is perfect, and this was (shockingly) the least used piece of glass we had. Only used by the students who knew exactly what they were doing. I've tried it from time to time - this is unbelievable sharp. Talking pixel-peeping, holy *(&^ kind of stuff at 1.4.
