Pentax P30T w/Pentax A 35-80 lens - New Facts!

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax P30T w/Pentax A 35-80 lens

Asking Price
25.00 USD

Item Location
Austin, TX area (United States)

Item Description
Pentax P30T in overall Excellent condition - some light scratch marks above the right side shoulder strap lug and some very light wear marks above the left hand strap lug - otherwise virtually unmarked. As far as I can tell, everything works as it should - hot shoe, timer, depth-of-field preview, winder and shutter speeds. Just discovered that this model has a cable release socket - also has a depth of field preview lever. Practically Professional!!

Comes with a Pentax A 35-80mm f4-5.6 in excellent condition. A couple of very faint marks on the filter ring - aperture blades are clean and 'snappy'. Don't have a lens cap for it, but I've added a Skylight filter for front lens element protection.

Camera also comes with an original Pentax shoulder strap and batteries.

Hi Chip,
I will not be able to get together with you on the camera for sale. I am so sorry. Some family things came up and devoured all of my spare time.
Thanks,
Mike Mock

Folks, I gotta tell ya - it's NOT going to get any cheaper. Shipping, which is INCLUDED, will cost me $9.00, netting me $16 for a pretty nice camera with a lens! Good deal for you!

The lens exterior is very interesting - it lacks the usual knurled ring look of the K's and M's and the A primes, and almost looks like a prototype for the outer shell of the F series! Or perhaps this was after the F series had begun production and they found they could put the A optics in the F shell without any problems and it was easier to produce late in the A series run? Frankenlens!!!
