• In excellent condition on both optics and cosmetics
• No original hood but I use two step up rings as lens hood
• Both compatible front and rear caps
• Tested to work well on aps-c with Pentax K-5 and Sony 5N, and full frame with Sony A7

body and adapter not included

This is my interim K-mount lens replacement for my DA 21mm f/3.2 that I sold in a pinch. This lens beats the 21 in speed and it can work with FF and works on film body as well. It excels in close focusing shot. It compares well with DA 21 though I prefer the color on DA 21 but this Spiratone stands on its own for its faster speed and FF ready for K-mount. Though it is not pancake small, and it is very small wide prime with f/2.8 speed. Vignette does happen on corners especially in wide open shots in FF, correctable in PP, fringing is good, flare control is reasonably well, overall a solid performer for both aps-c and full frame. It works well for street shooting for aps-c and it is a dependable wide angle for FF. With my recent find in 21mm f/1.8, I will let it go for a better home.

Some test shots taken with my 1st copy of Spiratone on film with Pentax SuperProgram. I used FujiFilm 400 films and developed in Ritz. Ritz scanned it for me with low resolution.
