This lens is in LIKE NEW condition. NO scratching, scuffing ANYWHERE on the lens and/or on glass. This is a great wide angle mid-tele lens with excellent contrast and sharpness edge to edge. Autofocus is smooth and the aperture snaps nicely. No fungus or any marks on the glass.

This lens is one of Sigma's best lens, a milestone of sharpness, lack of distortion, and that 3D quality so desired by photographers. The reason I am selling it is to fund the 50-135mm. It comes with all original packing, pouch, guarantee, box, both caps and PLUS these following items:

1) Tiffen 82mm Circular Polarization: 82MM CIRCULAR POLARIZER FILTER - Tiffen.Com

Since you asked, there are quite a few places that sell it for less than $400 new. Here's one:

Sigma AF 24-70/2.8 EX DG MACRO ASPHERICAL DF FOR PENTAX AF (82MM), Sigma AF 2470/2.8, 548109

But that's besides the point. The 24-70mm focal range is not all that exciting. There are some more popular lenses covering a better range, such as the Sigma 17-70mm and the upcoming pentax 17-70mm. And there's the Tamron 28-75mm that gets excellent reviews.
