SOLD These are both the original versions of the Sigmas.
Sigma 17-70mm (first two images below) was my workhorse lens almost since it was introduced up to very recently, but now has been supplanted by a 16-85mm Pentax (except on vacation tours where I prefer a Sigma 18-250). This lens does show use: it has some infamous small-marks-that-do-not-degrade-the-image on the front element, but more annoying, the little lugs that lock the lens hood into place became badly worn so that the shade would slip off. I put on drops of Super Glue, the standard fix, so naturally the hood is now a bit over tight. A replacement hood, under $20, might be preferred. The IQ of this lens has been 100% satisfactory. I've posted hundreds of images taken with on various PF threads. $200 with hood, caps & case if you want a case.
Sigma 10-20mm with detachable hood (second two images below). This was also a workhorse lens, although not used nearly as much as the 17-70mm and consequently in better condition. Hood goes on fine, although its large diameter makes it fussy to align, I cannot see any marks of the front or rear glass, there are no blemishes on the funny textured barrel, focus or zoom rings. The IQ of this lens is excellent, but I prefer the Sigma 8-16mm, the extra 2mm makes a significant difference, so this lens has fallen into disuse for several years. $250 with hood, caps & case if you want a case (I find almost all cases included with lenses today usable only for storage).
The pair for $300 - what a deal!
