Wanted - Acquired: Wanted K-30/K-50/K-500/K-r

Looking for a K-30/K-50/K-500/K-r for a birthday present for my cousin. It needs to be relatively cheap like 250 with lens or no more than 175 without. Help me save her from the fate of getting a Nikon d50 or something like that( which her brother is trying to get for her).

Recently I saw this combo on Dallas craigslist. I do not know the seller and am not connected to the sale in any way, though I am inquiring about one of the lenses that he has for sale.

Ok but the problem Is I live in Pennsylvania... Maybe he would ship. Maybe if you go see a lens you could look at the camera too? Will contact him and see what he needs for it.

I'd be happy to report back on the body. I've an outstanding message to him about the lens...if he is interested maybe I can look at it over the weekend. In the message I mentioned you and sent a link to your post here...not sure if he'd be willing to ship. As I said, I will be happy to check it out if the opportunity arises.

I am not sure I made him an offer and told him I live in PA. And he wrote back and said sorry he only wants to sell locally.

That k-30 is over my budget but how does the k-200d compare to the k-30?

The K200D is only 10mp, what about a used K-x, it's newer and has a 12.4 MP CMOS with SP coating. There's one at KEH for under $200.
