Red/Green Dot Sight With Hot Shoe Adapter for Pentax

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Red/Green Dot Sight With Hot Shoe Adapter for Pentax

Asking Price
80.00 USD

Item Location
Somerville, NJ (United States)

Item Description
This sight will track you much better than camera’s viewfinder. Sight is real-time and instant. Just make necessary adjustments to red/green dot sight and match the center of the camera’s viewfinder. Results may vary from the contrast detection of your camera, but guarantee you have instant and real-time view of your target. I would caution others that this device will not produce miracles – but it can increase your keeper rate.

Please find the sample of photos taken with the red/green dot sight. Camera is not part of the sale.

What’s included?

· 1 x Red Dot Reflex Sight

· 2 x Allen Wrench

· 1 x CR2032 Battery

· Cleaning Cloth

· Storage Box

· Instruction/Manual

· Hot shoe adapter in black strong nylon plastic

Please read the instruction/manual how to adjust the sight. I strongly suggest mounting the camera on the tripod and using camera’s live view center focus for much better alignment and synchronization. Make necessary adjustments to the levelling bolts using the Allen wrench to the elevation (Up/down) and direction (left/right) to your shooting preference. It should match the red/green dot to your camera’s live view center focus. After the adjustment completed, please switch back to camera viewfinder and happy fun shooting.

Note: Please turn-off the sight by putting the selector dial either to "R" or "G" for longer battery life.

Hey, I like that last photo -- is the small bird actually holding onto the eagle, or is it flying with the eagle?

No offense to anybody.
I was a die-hard Pentax User ever and have very long journey for telephoto lens, did owned at max FA* 600mm F4, that was good but not good enough for very fast moving subjects, keeper rate was very disappointed. I sold the lens and bought Canon EF 600mm F4L USM IS with 1.4X iii adapter a body of 7D Mark II, it was really good combination. This is my rig now for my birding. I am still a Pentax Die Hard..but not for this very fast moving subjects.
Thanks again.

Looks like an Eastern Kingbird, has a white-tipped tail and dark head (never knew they had an orange "alarm patch" on the top of the head). The angle makes it look like an Eastern Phoebe but they don't have a white-tipped tail and not as white under the "arm pits". Great capture!

It is first time, I heard of something like this for a camera. I searched google and found some interesting things. The one you are selling is holographic type or not?
