Item Description
For sale is my DA 55-300mm, the one with the metal mount and quick shift.
The lens is in Excellent + condition (as graded by Keh, who tend to be conservative in their grading).
I only used it a few times. Glass and body are in like new condition. The lens hood has a scratch, but of course this doesn't effect the lens function.
Comes with hood and caps.

Sorry, not familiar, what's the metal mount and quick shift in reference to versus a 55-300 without it?

There are 3 versions of this Lens...
1) The DAL, which has a plastic mount and NO Quickshift
2) Th DA, which has a metal mount and quickshift
3) The new HD version, which has a metal mount, quickshift and HD coatings.

The one for sale here is the 2) version

FYI, in case you were asking, quickshift allows you to manual focus without switching anything on the camera body.

Thanks for the answer! I'll pass, probably go for a new WR version of the 55-300 since I do spend time outdoors in various conditions. That price was tempting! Good luck selling it!

I believe, in addition, the DAL version does not come with a hood supplied, which can be purchased extra. The other two do have hoods as part of the routine package.

I've enjoyed mine. Here is one at 300 mm.....
