Pentax-M 100mm f/4 Macro with 2x Extension tube (Full Frame Compatible)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax-M 100mm f/4 Macro with 2x Extension tube

Asking Price
145.00 USD

Item Location
Chicago, IL (United States)

Item Description
This lens is in really good condition, especially given it's age. It has all metal construction and is full frame compatible. Considering how seldom it appears here on the sale forum it seems to be fairly rare? It is well rated here on the forum with a 9.12/10: SMC Pentax-M 100mm F4 Macro Reviews - M Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

It comes with a Pentax rear cap and generic front cap with stretchy cord. The extension tube is branded Asahi Pentax. Both the lens and tube were made in Japan. It also comes with a Pentax era-appropriate hood. It is scratch free, fungus free, and dust free (as far as I can see).

The lens is not that rare, but the 50mm extension tube is not often seen, this set looks to be in good shape,
A great, sharp lens, was my favorite for not just macro with my MX and LX, a bit slow, but nice and compact.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to get to 1:1 macro, this is it.

Does the lens have usefulness in other ways in addition to macro shots?

Yes! It's also a great 100mm prime lens.
