For Sale - Sold: Pentax 12-24 Lens

I have a pentax 12-24 lens in mint condition. i have the box, warranty, front cap and lens hood. Glass is like/is new, i had a filter on it. See photo. I'm asking for (see below for updates and a NEW PRICE!) and that includes free shipping in canada.

I've had a few inquire about this lens, but its still for sale. Some common questions answered:
1) there are no focussing (ff/bf) issues with this lens, it is spot on sharp.
2) i have kept a UV filter on this since the day i bought it for christmas 2007 - front lens is spotless
3) Pentax 2 year warranty - comes with warranty card.

New price $590. I think this is reasonable (in canada at least) considering the competitive prices of Aden or Prodigital, etc. You are getting a mint lens! There is nothing wrong with it at all. It has been in great hands, never abused, dropped or scratched. You'll save at least $60 off of a brand new one, plus you'll save taxes, and shipping (shipping in canada is on me).

If I had the money for the lens, I'd buy it off of you right now. If you still have it come mid-late August, I might just take it off of your hands, as that might be the earliest I would have the cash.

I have had the lens for over 2.5 years now and I would not sell it unless,
of course, Pentax just happens to sneak in the equivalent to the Tokina 11-16/2.8

Just got the lens yesterday. Oh man, I wish I had bought it much earlier. The 12 to 24mm focal range is just perfect for my use: city walk

Hi: The same thing happens to me on my FS threads, particularly from persons who do not post a "PM Sent" reply to the FS thread.

I wonder if it would make sense to NOT ACCEPT a PM offer unless the (potential) buyer has made a reply to the thread?

I have bought items from people here before without posting in the fs thread. The thread was subsequently locked following the deal. The point is, it goes both ways and I don't think requiring a PM and post is going to solve anything. I always respond to someones offer whether I accept it or not because it is just courtesy.
