Sigma 500 f/4.5, 1.4x & 2x TC's **REDUCED**

The widest (non-fisheye) and the longest Sigma lens available for K Mount

The condition of everything is excellent, with the TC's especially being "New - Never Used"

Sigma 8-16

Sigma 500 f/4.5 - $4100
Preferred over the DA 560 for its compactness, AF speed, aperture, and buttery bokeh (trust me, I'm probably the only person to ever own both at the same time), however I just don't have the time to use it, especially with a deployment looming over the horizon...

Includes all papers, front and rear caps, interior filter + hard case, Sigma carry strap, original Sigma EX Case, original box.
Additionally, I have a woodland camouflage LensCoat and an Arca Swiss lens plate already attached to the carry handle.

I forgot to take pictures of the TC's, however they are the new EX one's that are designed with the Sigma EX line (300 f/2.8, 500 f/4.5, etc.) in mind, however they of course are compatible with other lenses. $150 for the 1.4x and $175 for the 2x TC.
Take the 500 and the two TC's for only $4300 combined.

Prices including shipping within the continental US - outside of that, please PM me and we will certainly work something out as I have done before

If anyone questions the legitimacy of my offer, I welcome you to read my Marketplace feedback. If that doesn't suffice, please let me know, as I promise I am not a scam artist.

I'm not getting either, but have you done a comparison of these two?
I've seen some members asking which one is better.
It be nice to reference them to a comparison.

I appreciate all the offers for the 8-16, and normally it would be gone and bubble wrapped in a box right now, however I have retracted it from being for sale for the time being thanks to an opportunity offered by Adam to do a review I've always wanted to do for the forum - Sigma 8-16 vs Pentax DA 10-17 vs Samyang 8 FE vs Samyang 10 - the battle of the ULTRA wides

I regret to say that I never got around to it :/

This was my summed up experience in the 500 vs 560 thread started by @Kath when she was looking for a lens to go with:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/302540-pent...ml#post3355143

She ended up with the 560. Either way, you can't lose as they are both great lenses, really, however in my hands both suffered from not being given the attention they deserved

OK, I've read that thread.
I was just wondering if you had a more 'formal' review.
But that's fine, good luck with the sale and fun shooting

The Pentax version of the lens does not have a focus limiter, unfortunately.

What I can say, though, is that on a K-3 body the AF is so fast I never felt the need for one. I found the AF to be faster than the DA 560 even WITH the focus limiter engaged
