Sanity? It's insane to not own this lens if you shoot Pentax APS-C (unless you can't afford it).

This lens is a big reason I still own a Pentax camera.

I'm pretty sure we're saying the same thing.

Even if you can't currently afford this lens, it is worth carving out some of your budget to pick up a copy at some point.

So tempted to pick this up for a second copy...hands down my favorite da limited glass! I paid about 1.75X this price several years ago and have not one regret as it's versatility and IQ are tops.

Even if I find difficult using 1:1 macro, I'm covered with Tamron 90mm macro.
This lens looks incredibly sharp for everything else, especially flower"cards"

For the price I could not resist, it's terrible, but how could I?
