[SOLD] Pentax SMC-K 28mm f/3.5

Pentax SMC-K 28mm/3.5 Shift, EX+++ condition with caps. Glass clean without cleaning marks or haze.
It is all-metal with built-in orange, yellow and skylight filters.
Perfect for architectural or product shooting.

I would love to keep the lens but it isn't getting used as much as I would have hoped.

Price C$660.00 including shipping in Canada and U.S.; elsewhere, shipping costs depends on country of destination.

my two cents

I can not comment on price based on the rule of the forum. However, here is my two cents of why this lens is still unsold, except the price consideration.

I have almost all K lens shorter than 150mm, except this one. The reason I didn't go after is I will have little use of it. Secondly, it's not as rare as k20, k28/2, k105, k18, k85, k120,k30 (rarest first). So anytime I want to complete my collection, I just need to wait a few weeks and it will show up somewhere. I guess a lot of buyers here will have similar mentality, unless it's really a bargain.

It's a "shift" lens, hence the high price.

There are currenty 2 on auction for 850.00 but I will take a loss and reduce price to Canadian dollar 630.00 (C$630.00)

Personally I think that's a good deal.
Thanks

I think vanchaz2002 and jake.astig didn't realize it was the seller asking if the price was too high...

For my part I'll say: I've wanted a shift forever (long before going Pentax or AF, let alone digital!) and as such I've kept an eye out for prices. This price is good, but perhaps many people feel like me that even a good price on a shift lens is prohibitive, and that we'll live with photoshopping away awkward building angles rather than shelling out going rates for shift lenses.

Sigh. I really would like a shift lens, but there will always be buyers willing to pay several times what the shift would be worth to me. Perhaps not on this forum today, but for sure they're out there.

I really think you should put that it's a Tilt Shift lens in the title of your sale thread.

The price seems in the right neighborhood, just going from past observation.

This is very good suggestion.

I've changed the images and placed a link to others, on the picture itself.

A recent selling of this item on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360069926279&ssPageN...MEWA:IT&ih=023

We've never referred to it as Tilt shift but it is a good suggestion.
If the MOD could change this for me I would appreciate it.

I prefer selling here but next week it definately goes on ebay because I want to get another prime.
