This is a very nice copy of this legendary lens. Glass is clear, body is in excellent cosmetic shape. Comes with front and rear caps, tripod ring, case, and 82mm Hoya HD UV filter (worth about 65 retail) Need cash to finance new stereo equipment purchase.

....and its the 2nd gen version.

I sold my 1st gen version to buy a 2nd gen. Personally, if you want one of these lenses, I think this is the version to have.

Also, I've been using mine with the Pentax HD TC and it's performing pretty well, so far.

Used to be that this lens wouldn't last even one day on the forum. Isn't anyone interested?? My new speakers are coming tomorrow and I may have serious marital problems if I don't sell this to pay for them

Lenses and speakers...that sounds familiar. I just bought a new pair of ELAC B6's that I don't need, and really don't even have a place to use them. That's what happens when I spend too much time on the internet!

But as a fellow 100-300mm f4 owner, I also keep an eye on any listings. I'm thinking that maybe the new Pentax 150-450mm is helping to relieve some of the demand for this great lens? Not as fast, but longer, so maybe it's a toss-up for a lot of people?

I have both and I am going to reserve judgement until I get the K1. Both seem to be pretty good on the K3 though. Nice and sharp.

Yah Edgar - just got a pair of Definitive Technology SM 65's and a Supercube 8000 sub. Can't wait to set em up and rock out!
