For sale: Set of four DA Limited Lenses with the Limited Case

Here is your chance to own the DA Limited lenses with the matching Limited case.

DA 15mm Limited - box, caps, papers and bag. Everything that came with it new. (Like New- )

DA 21mm Limited - box, caps, papers and bag. Everything that came with it new. (Very Good, small mark on metal cap, small wear mark on focus ring)

DA 40mm Limited - box, caps, papers and bag. Everything that came with it new. Includes both the screw on cap and a plastic one that snaps on. (Very good, small wear marks on the hood and focus ring)

DA 70mm Limited - box, caps, papers and bag. Everything that came with it new. (Like New- )


I know it would be easier to sell these individually, and probably for more money. But, hey they are a set, they've been together for a while I hate to break that up. So I'm offering this as a set for $1,300 shipped in the USA. And that includes the Limited lens case. If they don't sell as a set I'll consider breaking them up but let's see what happens this way first.


Condition is very good to LN-. Not perfect, they have been used but also very well cared for. Glass and mechanics are perfect.

Oh my goodness gracious... if I only had the money

The price raised a question in my mind - how do you guys think the Pentax 24-70 f/2.8 would compare to a bunch of limiteds, that cost the same price? Which would you go for, and why? Sorry if i've just turned this into a forum question

This seems like the ultimate "compact primes" set for APS-C. I too have these 4 lenses. They are a joy to carry and to use, providing excellent image quality. Excellent build quality as well. Very light weight and space saving too, with their ingenious compact hoods.

Yep. K-1 on pre-order so the APS-C only stuff has to go.
The case is a Pentax design for the Limited lenses. This is version two I think, designed by Ned Bunnel if memory serves. He was president of Pentax USA back in the day. They are a bit rare, took me about 6 months of searching to find one.

From two years ago? I got one piece('31)and should've bought another even though I already had the '77. Incidentally, I have this case and keep my Sigma 300 4.5 inside.

This reminds me of when we went to adopt our dog...
The rest of the litter was supposed to be gone by that day, only our pup and the mom remaining.
Apparently something happened with a few of the other families and we show up to 9 pups and the mom...
My Fiancee starts begging me to take all 9 home; I refuse and say we are only leaving with one. It was a 7 hour drive there and we still had 7 hours till we were home. We took the pup we initially agreed on and left, both of us sad we couldn't give them all a good home.
2 and a half years later I'm writing this post, my Fiancee looking at me saying, "Remember those 9 pups I couldn't take...?"
Something tells me I won't be allowed to take these 4 pups (lenses) home...

Yup. You're going to see some vignetting with the DA 35mm 2.4 and 40mm but nothing too bad. The DA 70 is going to be a great on FF.
