Thanks for your kind words. One best thing in selling is to make new friends from near and far as we share common interest. I have 170+ positive ratings and among those, I have quite a bunch whom I remember vividly by name/id and the city they live in. I wish we will have a coffee time again where I don't sell or buy anything but just get to share our journeys together over a cup of joe. I still have a buying problems through all the exciting and down years with Pentax and it gets worse when I can't sell things quickly to balance out the lba/cba side-effects. It is a life-long efforts to put into action to control my lens creep behavior.

Super-Tak 150 buyers: I have priced the lenses according to its excellent conditions and the goodies that come in the sale. Some may sell the original case, metal lens cap and metal hood in the Super-Tak 150mm separately and easily for $30.00. Now when you factor those in, the lens is about $19.00 to get. I am not selling the lens separately from its accessories but just to talk some sense to a potential buyer. If you need a 200mm, this 150mm is an easy odd and sleeper tele-lens not sought out greatly by others but it is definitely a bargain and smaller alternative better than many 200mm lens. Sharpness and great MF ring will cheer you with joy and confidence on your field usage.

---------- Post added 03-03-16 at 05:36 PM ----------

Tried the Super-Takumar 150mm f/4.0 indoor with Sony A7. The MF ring is great. The contrast is lower than my Super-Takumar 105mm f/2.8 that I tried. Need to try more shots outdoor. The indoor shots are quite taxing with low light especially when I shot the following after 6:00pm. The bokeh seems a bit busy for objects that are close by. Sharpness is reasonable, I think. I need to use it more and gather what other think of this lens.

All shot hand-held in f/4.0.

Some user reviews in this PentaxForums Lens Review link

FF FA 35mm buyers: Please do check what others have offered for this wonderful FF lens. The deal includes all the original caps and hood along with the original Pentax lens holster. If you find the holster price, you are seeing that the price that I set is close to a bargain. I don't plan for FF in Pentax and hence the sale. And even if I go FF, I can't justify the keep because of FA 31 ownership.

I want to keep the Super-Tak 150 and it gets worse with my decision to sell when I have few test shots with the lens. That is also what happens to a c-mount lens and a super-tak 105mm f/2.8 that I've decided to keep after two weekend of actual usage with field test. For the FA 35, I have tried hard in not trying it out as I have FA 31 in its place and I am contemplating to list the DA 35 to keep the FA 35 in company in marketplace. That is a shitty plan of serious thinking and actual action instead of fiction in chatty post on forum. The DA 35 limited used to be my bread and butter when I don't have the FA 31. The color and bokeh melt my memory far away from the DA 35. I should not have bought the FA 35 in the timeline with silver 31, da 35, black 31 and last with fa 35. But the DA 35 has its charms especially when it looks like a daring and sibling pair with the DF-A 100mm WR. The two looks alike though they differ much in focal length.

Thanks again for your kind words and bump.

Warmest,
Hin

Bump. FA 35 should be well sought after for K-1. I thought wrong again.

---------- Post added 03-09-16 at 11:10 PM ----------

Adding Pentax DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited to the sale but I am marking it as on-hold as I need to think through for the final cut decision. It is a great macro close up lens that I can't find a replacement, even with FA 31. The close up in DA 35 is great for traveling and product shots.

Thanks,
Hin

Hin that FA 35 is really tempting. If I didn't already have the FA 31 Ltd I would be all over it.

Give it a little time. The FA 35/2 is sort of a sleeper in many people's minds since they don't know the utility of this class of lens on FF. I suppose that I could start a thread...

It's an excellent lens. The actual pixel crop below shows what it is capable of producing. Not bad for a non-macro lens, in my opinion. If it weren't hand-held, would probably be even sharper.

A German member inquired about the lens with FA 35 f/2.0 and yes it is still available.

I am undecided over the DA 35 sale as I still like the lens very much though I use it much less.

Cheers,
Hin

My admired friend Justin has asked about the lens and I consider it sale pending. I am holding the lens for my friend until April 30.

I am still undecided on DA 35 as I love the close up with DA 35. I can only release the DA 35 if I ever find a good used copy of DA 21, which is missing in my bag.

Cheers,
Hin

Someone has asked about the DA 35mm f/2.8, I update here that I have withdrawn the lens from sale. I revisited my past blog post past blog post on DA 35mm as a documentary lens
where I actually replace my FA 31 limited with DA 35 at one point in my gear list. Now that I have my FA 31, I may as well keep both as FA 31 can't do close up like my DA 35. I may change my mind later as I have too many good gear -- my dilemma.

Cheers,
Hin
