I'm interested in the B24 plate, do you know if it would fit my Kirk ball head?

Hi Capsul,

Short answer .... Yes! Long answer .... with the RRS Lever controled clamp you have to be a little careful who makes the plate. (details on their website), otherwise Kirk, RRS and Wenberley all interchange.

Really Right Stuff ... Quick-Release Clamps

See the note at the bottom of the above web page.

Have a good one!

On an even more basic level ... a camera plate is a piece of metal you screw into the bottom of your camera, which then allows you to quickly mount the camera on a tripod using a quick release bracket, typically on a ball head. The ones Murray is selling are for "Arca-Swiss" style ball head mounts.

(Good price and quick shipping. I just picked up one of his RRS plates to mount my K100D to my Acratech ballhead.)
