[SOLD] 4 SMC K Lenses - 35/3.5, 50/1.4, 135/3.5, 200/4

PRICE REDUCTION - LAST CALL - THEY GO TO EBAY SUNDAY EVENING.

Please reply to this thread when sending a PM.

Thanks in advance.

Although I know I will regret this when the FF KxxD body is released, I'm clearing out lenses that don't get enough use. Each entry has a link to pictures of the lenses and each gallery includes a picture taken with the lens today, unaltered aside from crop and levels adjustment (WB indoors with mixed incandescent, fluorescent and flash is a B*&%$) in PS Elements.

All prices include USPS Priority Mail shipping (USA & Canada), insurance and PayPal fees.
PM me from other countries for additional shipping costs and we can work together.
As a starting point, here is a link to US Postal Service International Shipping calculator Postage Price Calculator I will reduce the charge by the amount for US Shipping.

#1 SMC Pentax K 35mm f/3.5 - [SOLD]
Excellent cosmetic condition and glass. Includes correct period caps.
This lens is NEARLY as good as the FA35/2 in contrast, color rendition, sharpness/resolution and bokeh - for $200 less, and better than any other Pentax 35. I actually have another one of these - this came attached to a K2 I bought.

#2 SMC Pentax K 50mm f/1.4 - REMOVED
Excellent cosmetic condition and glass. Includes correct period caps.
Distinguishing this lens from any other Pentax 50 is a matter of splitting hairs - they're all good - but nothing quite feels like focusing a fine, metal K50. I have too many 50's and I want to keep 1 M lens, so this has to go.

#3 - SMC Pentax K 135mm f/3.5 - REMOVED
Wear on high points of aperture ring and dust on inner rear element.
Includes correct front and generic rear caps.
This lens is noted for its sharp, contrasty images and its classic K-series workmanship. I bought this on this Forum in a fit of LBA, but I also have a SMC Tak 135 so this has to go.

#4 - SMC Pentax K 200mm f/4 -[SOLD]
Excellent cosmetic condition and glass. Includes correct period caps and the correct plastic clip-on hood.
This lens is in nearly new cosmetic and operating condition. Said to have slightly higher IQ than the M version, and I included the matching hood to compensate for the attached hood the M has. Again, I'm keeping a Super-Tak 200, essentially the same lens as this.

I own the K 35 f/3.5 and it's basically stunning, one of the sharpest I own, and I love the colors.

Haven't heard from this buyer after the PM, so the Pending Sale goes to the prior responder.

According to Marketplace rules, you have to post prices. How much for the screwdriver?

Sorry, I had to do it

Hah Hah

I really don't want to break up the set, but OWTH, give me a hundred bucks for the screwdriver and I'll throw in the lens for the cost of shipping

.

K 35 f/3.5 mentioned here.:

QuoteQuote:
The 35mm f/3.5 put in an excellent performance considering that it is much less expensive than the f/2 lenses. It was as sharp as any at the centre, and at the edge it was beaten by only a very small margin by the FA lens.

In addition to its optical excellence, the f/3.5's mechanical design is the best of any Pentax 35mm lens. Unlike the FA and M series lenses, the front element of the lens is recessed, creating less risk of damaging it and reducing the need to put a filter on top of it for protection (something I don't like to do, since it creates one more source of reflections). This also protects it from glare even without a lens shade. While I generally value compact size, Pentax overdid it with some of these lenses. It would have been better to opt for a slightly larger diameter barrel, rather than having the glass right at the front without any protection. The f/3.5 does have a wider barrel, taking a 52mm filter, while all the othere take 49mm filters.

Please note there are PM's in my mailbox on the 35/3.5 and the 200/4 from members who did not establish a place in line by replying to this thread. That makes it a challenge for me to 1) treat willing buyers fairly 2) sell the lens.

Please reply to the thread if you are sending a PM about one of these lenses.

No response on the K200/4 from the purchaser, so the lens is once again available for purchase
