Offered for sale is my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD IF Macro. The lens is in like new condition. There are no blemishes to the lens coatings, haze, fungus or oil present in the lens. The sale includes Tamron caps, Tamron hood, Pentax S90-140 soft case, box and documentation. I am the second owner of this lens. I purchased it from another forum member. I'm selling it because I have found that I pretty much shoot it at the long end and I have a prime that covers that focal length. This is a nice sharp copy without QA issues.

I would be interested in a trade for a Pentax FA 50mm or FA 100mm f/2.8 macro (with cash on my end if needed).

I've seen a several posts lately expressing people's love for this inexpensive fast normal zoom lens on the K-1. I will probably give it a try when I purchase a K-1 sometimes next year, even if I end up using it as a 28-75mm f/3.2 or 3.5 lens (if I find the sharpness at 2.8 to not be as good as I'd like it to be). Good luck with the sale.

I've had this lens for over 6 yrs. It's my most used lens. Not a single problem with it at all. I was going to sell mine & purchase a Pentax 24-70mm 2.8, for @ $1,500. When I got the K-1, I was blown away how this lens performs. I'm sending it to Tamron for basic maintenance. It will cost $140. To me, it's a very small price to keep a great lens up and running for another 6 yrs. Happy shooting to the buyer with a K-3 or the K-1.
