[SOLD] Tamron 1.4x Teleconverter PZ-AF-MC4

I am selling a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter PZ AF MC4. $120 + shipping (Paypal accepted, Fee for using credit card will be applied). This has sat on the shelf inside the pouch for a long time without use. It has been used just a handful of times. I am new to this selling biz on the forum, so if you want it overseas, I'll need some help in understanding how that all works.

There is presently one on e-Bay (at $50 w/6 days to go). It also is the correct one, meaning that it will allow AF w/SDM - at least mine does.....

Good luck........

Nope cupic,

Seller was worried about selling o/seas and keen to sell to US buyer next in line to avoid hassles...

I share your sentiment, mate... I've posted a wanted ad for a DA* 16-50 for over a week and 3 of them passed me by on this forum.

Can moderators encourage sellers to look for potential buyers first in the wanted section first somehow?

Since this discussion is continuing... What are the duties/customs requirements? Do they fall on the seller from the states or on you the buyer who has to receive the item? If you can give a brief summary of how that works, I (and I hope others) will consider you guys more often. I realize that with the exchange rates, we here in the states have pretty good prices for you.... Now that I have my first sale ( NOT the 1.4x yet) using paypal (not through commercial retailer or ebay) I'll consider overseas selling if it is simply a matter of boxing the item up and sending over the pond... Thanks for the information...I hope it helps you guys out too!

There is no inconvenience for the seller.
If taxes are to be paid, they are demanded to the buyer.

I don't see what the problem is sending downunder, I've sent stuff to my friends there and never had a problem. I never said what was in the package when I went to the Post Office, they just ask if its flamable, or stuff like that. then fill out a green piece of paper with a few boxes to check like price, or is it a gift. I sent hard drives and PC parts to them and never had a problem.

Sellers should find these details out before they use this as a reason not to send things overseas.
A seller does nothing different to sell and post an item overseas other than perhaps sign a customs declaration that your posted item is not hazardous to postage handlers. No cost, no hassles.

The buyer has to pay for customs duty - in Aus, this only happens when the value of the item exceeds $1000, and they usually have to report to the post office where the item awaits pick up and signing.

Really not much to it.

Although it also annoys me sometimes when a buyer refuses to sell outside the USA surely that is their option to do so.
They would more than likely get a better price as equipment is generally a lot cheaper in the USA so us non Americans are used to higher prices but that is entirely up to them, I for one will not tell someone who they should sell to.

One thing I would ask though is that sellers put it in the title so it saves me looking at the post.

On another happier note, I just picked up a Pentax-M 50mm F4 macro lens on Ebay USA for $25 .. it was advertised on buy it now as "Pentax 50mm lens" and I saw it within seconds of it being listed.

Good one Mike. Hope it's a keeper!
Yep, it's seller's discretion but why should it matter who a seller sells their stuff to?
Defeats the purpose of having an open marketplace if there's favouritism.
