Pentax LX camera for sale. Great condition, works perfectly, includes the hard-to-find camera strap lugs.
For most of us, it goes without saying: the Pentax LX was Pentax's professional 35mm camera body. It is a complete system camera, with interchangeable viewfinders, mirror lock up, a wide range of shutter speeds, optional grips, a hybrid shutter that permits operation without a battery at many speeds. The light meter remains one of the best ever put into a camera. It is a self-adjusting meter that compensates for changing light conditions during exposure, and can accurately handle very long exposures. This makes it a fantastic camera for low light and night shooting, star trails, etc. The lens mount is Pentax K, and is compatible with the huge range range of Pentax lenses -- K, M, A, F, FA and (with an adapter) M42.
This camera works perfectly and has been reliable. There is a worn corner on the FA-1 prism (see photographs) but there are no problems with the prism or the camera.
